This is not a post !
Well this area is meant for posts,
but i dont want it to be a mere post,
I want it to be more like a toast,
but not like a boast,
me wanting a non boasted toasted post,
ends up it being a roast...

Kavita
--first of all ..the title does not refer to a chick but of course the content has everything to do with it.. ;)
NB: In this post, any resemblance to any alien (Esp from Venus) is purely intentional...
Dont ever waste your life over a chick,
I dont think its really worth it,
'cause you'll definitely have more chicks than your picks,
Life is something like a game ,Chicks may give you fame,
but with great fame comes the responsibility of taking all the blame,
So folks go ahead and have your picks,
U can be sure to have more chicks than your picks ,
'cause they'll always be hen as long there are men,
and as hen lay chicks you are good to make your picks,
Some(all) of the above lines may useless,
but all(some) of them are not totally baseless,
so i say it again, dont end up in vain,
this is the reign you are most likely to gain,
start this from your birth and you ll land up on a planet other than earth.
The above lines were written just to kill time... I m sorry to have killed yours too...
Go ahead and read my post Kavita.. LOL
P K : It would be rude, mean and "chick"ish to interpret chick=woman on planet Earth....Of course the above lines are subject to the writers discretion .... ;) :P

My Crushes Part I
we like somethings when we see them and some things get attached to us as we move on with them..i'd like to post something regarding this..
Sony Ericsson w910i
i never thought i was going to use a mobile phone...in fact it was a dream...in fact even today i feel its not a necessity to me..
But w910i was my first phone ..i bought it in 2008 maybe a week ahead of holi..I was in my first year then....The phone really looks stunning and gorgeous but it was my phone that made it special..
whenever there's a "me" involved we have a probem..I dont want to forget this,in fact i can't stop smiling whenever i remember abt this. The DAMN phone dint wotk aftert i bought it home..Imagine buying such an expensive phone and it doesn't work.that too the very first day...had to take it to the cust care..(maybe i ve been there half a dozen times) and i have to mention the service was damn poor...
After all this I still say it is my first phone and i still love it...I still have the piece with me( thought it doesn't work) it died of a heart attack i guess.. and i m not going to buy another w910i (not because its out of production..will be soon... but i just dont want to re-live the same memories)
and now that my first phone got spoilt i had a sim to insert in some other phone .so i took my dads phone

Coach
Blogging out of personal experience :-)
Coaching did not really help me..Be it whatever form of coaching ...Right from my tenth standard,my relationship with coaching started...I was sent to the so called IC (Intensive Coaching) batch where i was expected to score really good marks in my board exams..
Result:- It might help me in the long run ,i got what i deserved in my tenth.
After my Tenth examinations,I started going to Matrushri ,the so called premier institute to get into Ramaiah which is in turn the so called premier institute to get into IIT which in turn is the so called premier institute where you are supposed to get the "No More Looking Back" feeling...
Result:- I could nt get into Ramaiah...(of course din get into IIT either ;) ,the story follows...)
Then for two years i took coaching to get into IIT ,travelling quite a bit of distance everyday....And what would the result be?...As already mentioned wasn't successful...
I never took any coaching for EAMCET and managed to get in one of the engineering colleges with my result..
Well ,I have to admit that i took coaching for C language in my holidays and it really was useful...
Apart from that I m afraid I have to say all the coaching classes I have been to,did not help me immediately...I say that because they may help me in the long run....
And last but not the least,I ve been to VISU the so called premier institute for GRE coaching....
Well, the result was the same...no big use...I was made to solve some math problems and quickly marked the answers for the vocab part which the faculty read out loud.."in an Air conditioned room " and this went on for forty five days...end of story..The GRE Coaching was over....
Moral of the story : This is what i learnt...
P.S. Step one is Awesomendary.... :)

Cric
I am really an avid Cricket Fan... and I always have a penchant for my home team..Be it India(In the International Cricket) be it Deccan Chargers (IN IPL)...
There are some Matches that i am never likely to forget..
I now am really starting to believe that all the IPL matches are fixed...Lalit Modi decides the winner after all...There are n number of reasons for me coming to such a conclusion...
All the matches are brought down to the wire and ultimately Lalit's team emerges as the winner...
But I really dont mind whether the matches are fixed after all its really entertaining just like WWE which is also (obviously) fixed and still I love it..
I love cricket and i am not a bad player by the way but I never really dreamt of becoming a cricketer. The fact is I enjoy watching more than playing..(note its not the same with all the sports..) .
The Bottom line is that I am a die hard fan of cricket and the Indian cricket team and will be the same forever.... :)
There are some Matches that i am never likely to forget..
- the natwest final where the world saw Ganguly topless.. :P
- Jo'burg match where the proteas chased down 438
- Yuraj's six sixers in IPL
- India winning the T20 WC
- Sachin's brilliant knocks (175 in Hyderabad) and (200* was really awesomendary)

TIE
The solid Black suit...The Black coat, the black trouser, the white shirt and a black tie...It simply is the most awesome attire i ve ever seen...
I really enjoy wearing a TIE( Thing I Enjoy...)..used to have one in my school right from LKG to class seven...after that i had to switch to another school for no good reason actually...But it turned out to be a really good thing for me..No regrets, except for the fact that i missed my Tie from there on....
Now, I had a suit when I was Six or seven,i am not very sure...but really felt very uncomfortable in it...maybe the weather had an effect but from then on i never wore a suit...
The most comfortable outfit i ve ver been is my black shorts and my white t shirt...Though the images below are not mine,I have the same ones with me..
And now coming to my all time favorite attires,I love a straight fit denim and a round neck T shirt with a slogan or a cartoon on it....This is how i want to be ,and yeah, will be... :-) ..

Conio.h
You wont be able to use conio.h in a linux environment as it is a windows(MS DOS) library...
Whoa...I never knew this until today...even in windows I use netbeans 6.8 with Cygwin..
Also you can manage to do most of your tasks without including conio.h itself....

Firefox
Firefox is my favourite web browser ,I ve a penchant towards Google Chrome too..
there are awesome add ons to adblock, fireftp, live http headers, firebug,Greasemonkey, and web developer...we can add any number to dictionaries to firefox too...for spell check etc.By default its English(US) but I am used to Britain English..that's the reason "favourite" is underlined in Red in this post(of course while i m editing the post)...It can be fixed quite easily though...
Mann...I ve discovered something long back...When you download something in Firefox and you accidentally shut down the browser, the download is not broken...It still continues in the downloads window.IN case the downloads window is closed and the browser is running, still the download continues...Previously ,if I m not wrong...we dint get any prompts...An accident and Kabooom!!...The download Breaks..This was there for a long time in IE and was fixed in a jiffy in firefox...:)
( Note: actually that is a long time back..now in the updated version of windows it does nt happen)
Firefox has the awesome BUGZILLA ..where we can submit bugs if any..and they will be closed in minutes...you can browse through closed and open BUG lists too...
the speed, security etc are know to all...
IN spite if having so many great facilities...This Pie Chart Amazes me.....

THE Woodcutter Story
A very famous story from the Aesop's Fables. This one has some improvisation....
A woodcutter while cutting a tree on the branch of a river accidentally drops his axe into the river...His axe being his source of bread & butter is now lost ,so he does not know what to do(Assume he does not know how to swim)..In vain he starts praying to God and seeks his help...
An Angel appears and brings out a shiny Golden Axe and asks him if it was his lost axe.
The woodcutter being honest replies that it wasn't his axe...
So the Angel once again takes a dip.
This time the Angel brings a Silver Axe and asks the woodcutter if the axe was his. What would you expect from such an honest woodcutter who had let go of the golden axe?He honestly replies that it wasn't his axe.
This time the Angel again takes a dip and comes out with the old iron axe of the woodcutter..Seeing it the woodcutter becomes happy and tells the angel that it was his axe.The Angel appreciating the honesty of the woodcutter rewards the woodcutter with all the three axes.
This is the happy ending of the story....
BUT...There's more to come.....
